Some people find renting a piano can be their ultimate solution to their problems, especially to those who are embarking for someone on piano classes and lessons.

There are people who can’t afford to buy a brand new musical instrument for piano lessons, so they best option is to piano rentals. However, aside from monthly fee expenses, you also have t pay for the moving charges, as well as tuning fees.

Christopher Willibald Gluck

Ludwig van Beethoven

He was notable for his successful attempt in breaking the strict and refined rules of classical music composition.

 Luigi Boccherini

His famous works were sonatas and concertos, but what put this to fame was his famous Minuet from the string quintet.

Playing the Beethoven Sonatas: A Dream Come True for Pianists

Posted By on

It is indeed a one-of-a-kind experience for many pianists to play all 32 sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven. For them, it is a great achievement and considered to be a test of endurance, emotion and strength. Playing the classical songs of Beethoven is not as simple as playing a piano, but for Cynthia Perry MacCrae it will be a memorable, fulfilling experience to perform all 32 Beethoven sonatas.

Although MacCrae is uncertain if she needs to include intermissions, she is expected to perform each recital that is to last about an hour and should have between two and four sonatas.

MacCrae will perform every recital on a nine-foot Steinway piano. Two Steinway pianos will be used, one piano was built in Hamburg, Germany and has resided in UM since the year 1983.

For MacCrae, this Hamburg Steinway piano is still in good condition and sounds fine. She also believes that the New York-built-Steinway at the Piano Gallery is a musical instrument that she has to get used to but it also gives her all that she needs to work with to perform well with this prestigious and timeless musical piece.
